Seems that the Q3 source code, which was recently released, is not in the state that the mod makers would have liked. This will invariably slow down the Q3 mod makers and give UT mods their own opportunity to shine!

Rocket Arena is one popular Q2 dm and team dm sytle mod that is planning a UT release and Weapons Factory is also planning a UT Version (rumor has it that it will be out soon).
For those of you who don't know Weapons Factory, it was the most popular classed based CTF mod for Q2.A consistent top 10 q2 mod, it was essentially TF for Q2 (since the original TF guys went and created valve software). It plays MUCH faster than Half-Lags TFC though, I bet the UT crowd will eat it up!
I've been both a WFQ2 clan (for about a year) and a RA2 clan and few of us are looking for somthing aside from Q2 to keep us busy. WF for UT would rock.
Essentially there are offensive and defensive class specializations (based on weapons, armor and movement) that foster team work and map based strategies! In WFQ2 there were 10 classes in the latest version.
Marine
Gunner
Cyborg
Arsonist
Sniper
Nurse
Mercenary
Spy
Engineer
Recon
Look for this one UT'ers it will impress you!
