ProAsm pointed me to this forum for my question, so here it goes.
We are running Zound on our server for some time now, and we really love it.
We made some zoundpacks, and everything is working fine.
Now I wanted some sounds for my clanmates and me only, so not to be triggered by guests. So I used the # sign in front of a trigger. That worked perfectly, because that trigger was not in the list, and wasn't been shown when used.
Then came along some members of another clans, and one smartass looked into the .uax file, and found out what the triggers where, and they started spamming our server with it, so I had to take them off.
At that time I mailed Proasm, and asked for a way to have different trigger words than the real sound names.
I was very pleased when I discoverd Zound 5 last week, wich had that as a new feature. So I started immideatly to convert my Zound 4.7 to Zound 5.
Mayby you can immation my surprice, when I gave the "private triggers" the option "Hidden=True", and I saw that the words were visible to everyone while being used.
So "Hidden=True" means that the word don't come in the list, but are visible to everyone. So after using a hidden trigger once , everybody knows what it is...
I don't want all words to be invisible to every one, because that is how most guest find these words, but the "hidden ones" I do want to be hidden.
Im I missing something ? I don't get the meaning of "hidden", if they are visible to everyone. Also because in all previous version the # sign did just that, hide the triggers from the list, AND hide the words typed.
I hope someone can tell me if I see things wrong ?
Sorry for the long story, and the above is absolutely NOT meant as criticism, I just want to understand the meaning.
