Blue is a mod based on Unreal's own "Greed" gameplay. However it will feature a completely new look and custom meshes.

The premise of the game is that there are two teams - light and shadow. People on the white team become less visible in light,while the black team can hide in shadows. When a player gets shot at it reveals his true color - blue - underneath and he will be likewise visible to both, black or white. The blue color is also underneath any surfaces and comes forth when they are being hit.

Seing blue in any area therefor means that there was or is a fight going on, around.
Actually, the one thing really left from Greed is that you collect a players "skull", we call it "essence", and score with it. The novel idea however is that you can switch on/off lights around the map to become less visible, or even invisible to the opponent (strategically located light switches). So you create your own map in the end.

The mod is held in black and white with occasional tints of colors (muzzle flash, power-ups, blue color, light switches), which should alltogether create a very interesting look. Levels will be indoors only, yet daycycles will probably play a role in the game. It is difficult to explain everything on such small space, butI can assure you this one is a really different idea and deserves some attention.

Our models will be Low-Poly only and I am hereby looking for a low-poly modeller, perferably with some experience with rigging and UnrealEditor (surplus). Since Make Something Unreal closes on August 1st, we have to be quick and thorough about our work. Beside me and the coder, there are three more people on the team and just one or two new modellers will help us finish the mod in time.

I have WIP of the soldier uniform you will model for us. It will not require specular or normal maps and the texture is simple white or black. It currently looks like this:
