I just figured out whats going to be on there for damn sure!

A new video card!
I was just going thru google image search, the screen went black, then it came back with three start buttons at different spots on the bottom of the screen and a bunch of white lines, so, thats clearly a video card problem.

The puter is still under warranty, but I don't feel like dealing with those asshats in california. Whats your suggestion on a vid card to ask for?

LOL...that probably costs more than this entire computer already. My mom told me to give that crackheads one more chance. But she is gonna call them instead of me. I can't talk with a spanish-american over the phone, I get tired of saying "What was that?"

So she agreed to call them this time, and we'll see if they send me another faulty card.

All I could think of to ask for was the Nostromo pad.
RAM is a bit expensive, and thanks to my cousin; the video card is already here.

Only thing I can think of that I need is a car, seeing as mine is in the parking lot of the gas station across the street.

BC, don't you have a 9800 pro? If so, what model (manufacturer)? I got a BFG and they are guaranteed for life. I will say that I get some weird thing where the screen flashes black and then has to refresh all the desktop icons and whatever explorer windows I had open disappear. I never had that trouble with my nvidia cards. Usually it happens after I close a big memory program like a game. Dunno. Maybe it's the standard way for ATI cards to free up memory? Sorry you are still having issues with your comp. Next time we should all just get together and build them at the same time over at Taz's.

I think if I ever let taz touch my puter, it would be to hide some wires. He's probably a little better at it than I am. If I didn't have a fan controller it wouldn't be nearly as messy. Anyways, my mom is gonna call the peoples about my vid card sometime this week.

EDIT: Hell...taz, when a PSU has a fan on the side like that, does it go on te top or the bottom? I don't wanna have to cut a hole in my case for it.

No the big fan faces down toward the CPU. Sucking the Hot Air up into the PowerSupply. The 80mm attached to the back where all the strands are would push the air out the case.
Just turn the image upside down and thats how it would install.
