Oh oh. Keiichi's starting another "The Movie" topic. But seriously, has anybody seen it yet? Aside from being a raging otaku, I'm also quite the X-Men fan. I was understandably afraid that Fox was going to screw up the characters and mutilate the plot, but, having just returned from watching the movie, I'm actually fairly releived. The movie may not have been the blockbuster to end all blockbusters, but it definately wasn't your standard godawful comic-based movie (anyone remember Batman & Robin? I didn't think so). Hugh Jackman (www.hughjackman.com) played a fantastic Wolverine (Wolvie is my favorite), and the rest of the X-Crew seemed to fit their parts admirably. James Marsden (Cyclops) and Patrick Stewart (Prof. Xavier) were brilliant as well.

hmmm i can't picture wolverine's voice being diff from the one in the cartoon... the voice is half his character right there... heard the original voice of wolverine and it just wasn't the same...

It is impossible for the glass to be half full or half empty for you see: there is no glass

old team

I havent read an X-men comic in a long while...I still think about picking one up every once and a while. I will eventually see the movie but it won't be the same to me. I remember the team being Wolverine, Havok, Storm, Colossus, Beast, Rogue, and Psylocke. Anyone know what happened to the ones that arent around anymore? I know havok went to x-factor....but they seemed to disappear. Anyway, I'm about 10 years behind if anyone feels like filling me in.
