Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.
Great. I've missed having a dedicated net connection at home for far too long (5 1/2 months) I was really starting to get cranky whenever anyone mentioned USWest.

How does ping compare to when you didn't have your DSL? I assume you were using a 56k before. Did you go with their 256k Deluxe? What ISP are you using, or did you go with uswest.net?

Actually I didn't go online when I didn't have DSL as my machine doesn't have a modem on. Besides, the one modem in our house (a 56k) was only getting 33.2 which me being who am wouldn't have been able to hack very well. Never played as an HPB, always been an LPB (I know very unsportsman like of me)
As for the connection we went with SpeakEasy.net and Covad for it with a 768 / 384 pipe. I didn't actually look at the pings I was getting, but 2 of my roommates and I (we haven't gotten the fourth to join us yet) have joined up to the same server on multiple ocasions already with no discernable lag at all *drool*. I love this
