Why are you worried about mouse acceleration on a server?

This is confusing the hell out of me. The above mentioned "Mark C" fix seems to be the best. I downloaded it from here, and it made the custom reg file for my machine. But in the readme it states:



Does that mean the windows 'Enhance pointer precision' option should be left on, off, or doesn'take any difference?

Also, it didn't mention refresh rate at any stage during the generation of the reg file? Will it compensate for 85Hz correctly?

What this fix does is make the acceleration curve a flat line. So you have to turn enhance pointer precision ON to take any effect.

I personally use the fix but have the windows thingie unchecked. Now if your game has its own acceleration built in and you can turn it off you are fine.
