12" Productions proudly peresents: "What if Meteors Prevail"
With so many cookie cutter, realism CS clones flooding the modding scene, 12” productions has decided to break away from the tried and tested and take a gamble at something different and unique.
“What if Meteors Prevail?” is a sci-fi based first person shooter that combines elements of a horror survival game and a team based multiplayer experience.
While it has some similarities to other games in the FPS category it is aimed to be an innovative take on the genre. 12” productions hopes to bring players into the world of W-I-M-P and create an exciting and memorable experience through refined gameplay in great contrast to today’s one dimensional twitch fests.
Setting
In the far reaches of space, a lone prison station lingers among fields of asteroids. This is the Deep Space Authority Penal Colony K4N545, reserved for the most violent and hardened criminals. As part of their punishment the prisoners endure forced labor working in all aspects of mining, processing, and storing the asteroids around them. With the resources obtained from their labor, the station is able to sustain itself without any government support.
Story
W-I-M-P will follow the experiences of the Aggression Rangers as they try to salvage their penal colony while fighting the unworldly horrors brought on board by an unusual meteor storm.
Gameplay
The basic gameplay driving the What if Meteors Prevail is a struggle between two sides.
The Marines - A contingent of Aggression Rangers placed on the station as an additional security measure. Awakened from their deep freeze only to find the station near total destruction. Their main objective is to repair the most critical systems of the facility. (These missions will be randomly picked out of a possible 20+ giving the players a almost limitless combination to play with. Thus assuring that each game of W-I-M-P will in fact be totally and unquestionably unique.)
The Monsters - Grotesque creatures (straight out of the cheesy 50’s sci-fi movies) subject to the mysterious meteor. Their only objective is to protect the meteor from the invading marine team and that means only one thing; kill the marines before they can accomplish their objectives.
Zombies - A subclass of the monsters, and the weakest of the three. They are there to act as cannon fodder for the marines and as a way for all dead players to remain in game.( all dead players can assume control of zombies.)

- And many more to come…
- The Zombie – Might be stiff, might be dumb, but he wants your CHOPS, and he wants them now!
- Life after death – Who said its all has to end when you pass on? In W-I-M-P dead players can be just as important as those left alive.
- Single player – A full seperate experience that will act as a prequel to the multiplayer component.
