Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.
It's been like that for quite some time. Most people who are OT dwellers either have stopped playing the Unreal games, or play the games to such a minimum that they no longer feel the need to post on any of the UT forums. (cod, left for dead, other games besides FPS etc.)
Back in the days of Unreal/UT 1 most people posted on either forums. And then when UNreal/UT lost its appeal to a certain group, they migrated to OT. Same happened with ut2003-4 and UT3 I guess.
Only a tiny fraction keeps lingering around on older UT/unreal forums. OT sucks people in and hardly lets go. For many OT die hards it's pretty much the only forum they read on a regular basis

Post about what? UT3 is all about bugs and I got sick of posting/reading about them whether here, on Epic's forums, or anywhere else.
Personally I go to BUF/Epic forums to talk about Unreal series, so off-topic sections don't appeal to me that much. After all, if I wanted to talk off-topic, I always have IMs and IRC.

I am where-ever there is something relevant to my interests. Which is off topic, other places, and here and by that I mean the UT3 section not this thread as it is irrelevant to my interests. I simply feel obligated to post as I opened and read the whole droll thing. Curse you.

But it's roots are still in the original games.I was talking about all the Unreal games and not just UT3.

For me, my playing to posting ratio is pretty consistent. I haven't posted here in a long time, and am only posting because I've put in a few hours recently, since I got my new rig together and can actually run the game.
I play, I post. I don't play, I don't post. I never got sucked into OT.
I found that even when I see eye to eye with the peeps here about the game, which this is the best UT community I've found, their ideas and opinions on non-game related stuffs was none too impressive.
