BTW, I ordered my upgrade parts last night.

I just got to back up everything so I can reformat when I get the new parts. So far I have backed up my browser favorites, my MP3s, and a certain picture of a certain Beast I have.

I just need to figure out how to backup my saved email from Outlook Express and my IRC people listy thingy and I'm all set.

Boom..

You can back up your Outlook Express email by saving the folders with the really long names in your C:\Windows\Application Data\Identities folder. You can save your ICQ contact list by backing up the 2000b (or whatever version you're using). When you reinstall copy the backed up folders over and run the database converter.

Boom, you could probably just export the outlook stuff to a file. At least you can in Regular outlook.

Easy

Just open Outlook Express and then open another folder somewhere and select all the mail you want to save and drag it to the folder you have open. Reverse the process when your up and running again.

to answer a few questions.. the flipoff smilies were removed when crackwhoremonkey's site was down and everything was showing red x boxes.

the system i'm currently running is:

1ghz t-bird
abit kt7
256mb pc133 ram
creative 32mb ddr geforce2 gts

i was having a bitchass time getting everything to work properly. finally i was fiddling around with a few settings and switched around the vsync option.. my framerate shot way the hell up.

looking at a black wall, i actually managed to break 300fps. in-game it is more or less in the 90 - 150 range, unless alot of stuff is going on the screen, then it'll drop to 50ish range.

if u are using 3dfx:
go to advanced options-->rendering-->3dfx glide support and set Disable VSync to true
