Whats up w/the Jump Boots?

Whats up w/the Jump Boots?
After I pick them up, they go into my item bin (or whatever), then they activate and exhust themselves on their own. Is that supposed to happen? I thought I was able to keep them in my inventory (like all the other items) and use them anytime I want, during the game!?!

Is this a known bug or something?

No, they have a timelimit from when you pick them up.

No they dont i kept mine once for 2 hours while playing bots(and i wasnt killed either)!

It also could be if your using user made levels some of them have like internal rules!

They have a time limit in single player. Not in botmatch or deathmatch.

As to their timelimit, you just how to figure out where (and if) you are going to use them before you collect them. They are often a clue to a secret area nearby. For more level-specific tips check the walkthroughs on my website.
