  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. Who's the wise guy that band me from the Starlight server, and why?
I played 1 and a half maps tonight of UWBA then the addmin baned my ip....I play on that server all the time and never had a problem till now. If you don't want me to play on the server, fine. But atleast let me know why. I use to race with stevenhorton there almost every night. :(
Didn't get a warning or anything, just baned :mad:

Hello Jack, I just missed you in UnWheel tonight; you were playing Supercross, which is a level I can't play for some reason. I have no idea why you were banned, and I agree a reason for being banned is justified. The server is run by $n][pErMan, and from his posts, I take it he is a reasonable guy. So if you go to this thread where he has posted; http://forums.beyondunreal.com/showthread.php?t=150678, and right-click on his name, you can send him an email. Hope this helps:)

The odd thing is, after I posted this thread, I went back to the server to try to connect 1 more time, and got on. The 2 players that where there when I was baned, were gone :rolleyes: I didn't pay much attention to their names, but I do remember that I hadn't seen them on the server before. As far as I know, $n][pErMan dosen't have a beef with me, think I might have raced him a few times on his server.
Sometimes I'll get someone whining about my nickname, wanting me to change it :rolleyes: but I'll leave if the addmin ask me to. I'm wondering if his server was hacked, or he gave his addmin pass to someone?
Oh well, I got back on, I'm happy now :lol: ;)

I never banned you... as a matter of fact I have been gone all weekend of the holidays. Unless someone hacked into the webadmin I have no clue how you were banned as I am the only admin for the server. As a matter of fact... I have only ever banned 1 person on the unwheel server and that was months ago. I'll check into this ASAP and also change the admin password for saftey. Im sorry... I hope I can figure it out.. or maybe it was just a fluke. Can you post on what date and aroudn what time this happened? I can check the logs for the players names and the commands that were run durring that time. Thanks! :)

Well I have been searching threw the logs and know what two players were on at the time. "Epic" and "Omegabob". According to the logs no one got on webadmin (that I can see anyway). However I did find a line that said "Adding Session ban for: (jack ****s name, IP, and ID here)" I don;t know why the hell or who the hell banned you, but the line right before your session ban (which is just a temp ban) says: "Accessed array 'Skins' out of bounds (0/0)"

So in short... I did not and don't plan on banning you unless you give me a REALLY good reason too. Hell... I dont even care if people cuss me out... you really have to screw up to get a ban from me. Hopefully you don't have this problem again.. but if so .. let me know ASAP :)

any idea what "Accessed array 'Skins' out of bounds (0/0)" means? I thought there was only 1 player skin for UW, and the cars were default by code. :rolleyes:

I didn't think youl'd ban me from your server ;) just seemed really odd when it happened, kindda like it was an addmin ban. Didn't think about it at the time, but I wish now that I would have taken a screen shot of the meassage it gave me. Might help you on your end to find out what happened.
Oh well, late here, I need to get to bed :eek:

Not a clue what "Accessed array 'Skins' out of bounds (0/0)" means. Maybe some of the unwheel staff does? As long as you can play on the server again thats good! I'll try and figure out what happened if I can. Hopefully you will not magically get banned again :p
