What the hell is that?!?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Overtly Serious Chappy.
I was just checking that my message had gotten through on Gryphons sig post, when I noticed this small line of text below...

"Eidos put in play after loss of £27m"

Gaming news while we converse. hmmm.... Is that from gamespy.com or is there another site?

Maybe Eidos should have put all that money it put into daikatana into Looking Glass (ok, or the other two ion games)

In other 'news', this will be my 100th post. Woophee!!!! I've finally reached the triple figures I so enviously stared at when I first started reading, then later joined. /infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

As some of you may know, the forum software we're running is not even released to the public yet. I applied to beta test the new software, and thats what we've been doing since the start. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

You can get more info on the software (OpenTopic) by checking out http://www.infopop.com. One of the pricing plans they will offer will be a free board with ads, and since most people don't like large images, Infopop is looking for alternatives.

With the text based ads you see here, they are testing to see if the revenue driven from the ads is enough to make it a reasonable business model.

It will only be for a couple of weeks, so enjoy it while it lasts! /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Personally, I like it since everything is gaming related. Any more comments?

Damn Stallion, you sound professional. LOL. I don't like the headlines myself, and will be happy when they go away, far far away, to the land of ad revenue and commercialist corporate traffic redirection schemes. Now if you'll excuse me I have some work to do.
