Version 2.5/2.6 is just GREAT

-The weapons are perfect just as they are (besides the PSG. IMO the darker skin of 2.5d was better)
-The skins in Standoff are great at last
-The bots in Classic work better
-THE WHOLE DAMN THING IS A MASTERPIECE OF WORK

thanks

Thanks Neo /infopop/emoticons\icon_wink.gif It's really nice getting praise in a genre where you can't please everyone.. Hopefully 3.0 will be much more pleasurable!

My only concern on the new 2.6 is the Player skins. They do look good and very realistic but they make it hard to distinguish team members from a distance. The Urban/Desert combo seems to look the most alike. I'm not sure I would change it but if there was some way to contrast them more it would help.

For now my tactic is to blast anything that moves and if you see blood spatters then it's an opposing team member.

The spawning/telefragging situation is fixed and works GREAT !!!

Yeah, distinguishing the skins can be difficult, but we did this a bit on purpose. We could have just had either jungle and urban or desert, but a lot of times ppl can look alike in combat. There are other things that 2.6 doesn't have to tell the difference between teams that 3.0 will- such as class specific player models.. even though you can have 2 spec ops teams playing against each other, you'll have other classes like terrorists and regular army types. At this time, my strategy is to shoot anything that moves as well! sometimes when you have large teams it's difficult to know about where your team is, and with some maps like INF_TeethSO it can be downright impossible.. just be glad there isn't friendly fire!

A surprise I didn't want to notice (playing was enough) then it hit: "Infiltration? this IS infiltration!".

It looks fantastic. I can now live without real bulletproof vests, and with the strange unreal pickups left in the maps. Serpentine is badly wounded.

Just think of the possibilitys with UT. You can look like you want to (almost), maybe even chose the part(s) textured in team texture. Shooting the legs of foes, so they can't retch home in time for intermission /infopop/emoticons\icon_wink.gif Oh joy.

Can't tell who is who, so please find a way for us to know. Show enemy names in red, friend in blue, or add an aura, that showes when you are close enough compared to the light (then you could really look like you want and be sniped by teammates).

How about simply adding, red or blue armbands, ala Dirty Dozen, the mock war they have in that, oh those whacky pranksters...hehehe.

I don't know how often I've already said this, but:
This is useless. There won't be another version before 3.0 and you've heard what the master (

) said: there'll be new models.
So: why discussing about sth. when the result won't change?

Yes Neo, but, how much trouble would it be to simply release a new version of the skins .utx, huh, very little, take maybe an hour, but the benefits would be enourmous.

If we replaced the skin colors, the HUD icons and scoreboard colors would still be wrong...

We simply hope that our prayers will be heard (often they are). Our intentions is only to help the game grow in quality and followers (and not decrease). Remember the new models also need skins (no more underwear on the outside on female skins please).
By the way who gave you permission to speak slave Neo?

Lol! One suggestion I noticed... 'How about red and blue names' Well, they're there! Just don't get sooooooo close you get a nasty surprise! Shoot first, apologize later!
