    icedude, it's a trick. use a throwaway email to send them a quote:
    "body armor, half off - you pick which half!" or something like that, and see if it doesn't get spammed.

    (It's probably either misdirected, in which case you don't want people who buy body armor knowing your real email, or it's a spam confirmer, to determine whether your address is actually live.)
