and here come the bugs i found. i sorted them according to their prio.
all in all excellent work on the new beta version, monkeys.
prio alpha
- no respawn: can't respawn because i'm unable to log onto any available deploy point (workaround: reselect team or class)
- passenger seat death: exiting passenger seat while your pal is still driving the vehicle leads to death
prio beta
- you and enemy in same vehicle: on rare occasions it is possible for you and an enemy to enter the same vehicle, like, you 're driving, he's shooting (funny ^^)
- raptor behavior: can't brake, can't powerslide
- juggie 3rd person view, drivers seat: quite unusable, you can not move the camera view as desired, e.g. the flamethrower often points into the wrong direction
- all vehicles uphill: bad traction, all vehicles have strong difficulties to go uphill (uphill like in "heap of mud")
- class select menu: sometimes stays after spawning, keys 1-3 are interpreted as menu presses, so pressing a valid number will kick you to another team or spectator
- dying animation: after dying you play the puppet on strings (also funny ^^)
- vehicle turret direction: turrets face away from the optical direction (90 or 180 degrees?)
- entering vehicles: the grid is missing, you often end up in the turret instead of on the drivers seat (especially raptor)
- exiting vehicles: you are sometimes "thrown out" of the vehicle in some distance to it (that hurts, sometimes)
- wepaons order: deployables are in the wrong order (tech: fences, rocket, auto, gunny: land, trip)
- reloading: sometimes not possible with r key; no weapon changing possible while reloading
- raptor turret: no power at all, you can't shoot another vehicle with it in minutes; i want my minigun ^^; angle: can't aim down when facing backwards
- vehicles: too touchy by far; as if they were made of porcelain
- raptor: stays on the gas when releasing the forward key
- gunny: grenade launcher stops shooting after 1 or 2 shells; sometimes the incinerary animation fails
- gunny: spawns with trip mines as primary weapon
- gunny: weapon switching slow; impossible while reloading
- gunny: jumps too high
prio omega
- mine jump kills deploy structure: after trip mine jumping the base and upper part of the deploy point were gone when i redeployed there
- togglecolor reset: name color is reset at new game start (f5 color shower ^^)
- upside down pic: sometimes you have an upside down picture at start; goes away when you spawn
- assault rifle beams: unnessecary ^^
- deploy point animation: deploy points often show spawning animation while toggling through them, though there is no spawning in progress
- hacking animation: muaaah, gimme some decent animation ^^
- name color codes: ^# color codes appear in messages and irc
- deploy delay: immediately before spawning, there is a second of waiting time
- hud disappears: hud is not shown while redeploying (no idea of energy level)
- player names: too small in the distance (font size doesnt scale)
- talk icon: still no "shove it, i'm talking" icon above player
- voice commands: first category shifted by 1 (e.g. "we need energy" is v 3 2 instead of v 2 2
- timer screwed: sometimes game suddenly ends, then the lady starts the countdown
