web admin on 286

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

What all problems you having? I've been running it on all my servers since its inception, and this last version runs for me all the time - although I do admit some of the options included don't quite work.

In other words - talk to me, Bubba, I know the admin inside and out. :)

AH! Well, lemme guess, you're filling in the UT webadmin password area, not the INF one. :) I did the same thing until I realized the new one was labeled differently. This is where you need to fill in the info:

[INF_Admin.INFServerAdmin]
AdminUsername=admin
AdminPassword=admin

This is the UT one, which you can really just delete out of the infiltration.ini:

[UTServerAdmin.UTServerAdmin]
AdminUsername=admin
AdminPassword=admin

So if I'm right - just try to connect with user: admin, pass: admin and you'll be in. :)

You're most welcome! Sorry I haven't updated the online server manual yet, I'll do that this weekend... and include all the 'dumba$$' things I've done so people can go straight on into being a 'smarta$$', lol. :)

I had the same problem, but I was starting a server using the Inf-GUI.
I checked the ini-file and I noticed that what the GUI had changed were the UT-server passwords ...
This looks like a bug ...

While we are on the subject of the almighty webadmin, how does one go about setting up the maps on the webadmin so that the uniforms can be changed? When I click on add, I get a small window that pops up saying that it has not been enabled (or some other such nonsense. BAH!)

That's probably because the web-admin isn't feature-complete and it still is a 'beta'-version.
You can't edit or change the bots or loadouts either ...

I think you either need to manually edit the ini-file(s) or use the Infiltration-GUI itself to change those things.

Yup, exactly right - we went with this webadmin over UTs because it could do more INF-wise than UTs, but it is far from completed. Just be thankful it made it to beta level, lol - the last one, optional with 2.85.5, was about a pre-alpha! Ugh! :)
