VX000 Facing retirement soon....

Come the 31st of july VX000 will have a change of address and no internet for awhile....the non-internet could last for a few months...ranging from 2 months to a lot longer.

It's sucks I know but it comes with selling your house and moving into college residence. I've told AX00 about it and I can seriously say I don't want to retire.....

But, with this in mind....given the lack of playing time I've had with the clan I have a small request.....

I would like to have a shot at playing a scrim with the clan, or having one huge clan match with as many of you as possible.

I've always said that if you're gonna go.....go in style....

So I leave the rest up to you guys, I'll be online later tonight if a few of you wanna get on IRC and talk about it.

Hey VX,

I would just like to say that I admire your being forthright and up front about events that will keep you from being an active Assassin. We have had clan members in the past (and present) that just dropped off the face of the Earth. Thus, your dedication to the clan and your wanting to remain a clan member is duly noted and appreciated by us all. It is unfortunate that you will not have internet connectivity for the next few months--I am sure that training and practice will be extremely productive during this time. However, if it you wish to take a leave of absence, I believe the core members would be generous in reviewing your request. Finally, I would love to partake in one big bruhahah with us all. Perhaps we can get some DM action going on the server for a bit.

VX, Thanks for the update. I can appreciate the fact that you are letting us know that you will be in Hiatus for awhile. I do have one request, which I am sure you can handle. Please drop in here every now & then to keep us updated. Most of us lead dull boring lives and we really like to keep up with current events. (IE: Hair Color, Mandy, Bar Fights, How your doing, etc LOL)
I am pretty sure that your spot will be here when your ready to return. You might have to upgrade to UT2K4 but we will be here.
BTW, I am always up for some Fragging and the more BuA involved the more fun I have.

Yes, I feel it somedays. Being more then twice the age of some players is nice in someways, yet I can't seem to remember any of them.
You ever hear of the old Saying: " An Aspirin a day will help keep the Heart Doctor Away". Me either until I hit 40. The important thing to remember here is ummm, ummmm, hell never mind just stay in touch, and watch out for 6'5" 280lb drunk angry slobs.

Well, VX, it's good that you warned us and all. I have no problem granting you a leave of absence.

As an aside, I am surprised to see a quote from an Audio Adrenaline song in your sig! Where did you see that? Do you listen to Audio A?

When I was 16 or so I was skateboarding at a skate park when the radio station was playing some stupid music. I skated over and changed the station, the song was just beginning and I loved it right from the start. My friends say it's perfect for me cause no matter what.... being the least skilled, new to something I always shock them with what I can pull off. My fave saying "It's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog."

I don't suppose I could speak for the core members, but were there to be a vote, I would vote for you to keep the tag. Of course I would understand that you might need some time to get your game back together... but you are still one of us.
