Not much to say about that clip. PR talk, nothing really new but It was worth my time :)

I do think the way consoles are going that the pc platform will be obsolete for gaming in the future. The PC is just so "multimedia" focused. There are too many better technologies out there. A small taste of whats to come will be seen with the xbox 360 and the PS3.

I am by no means a console guy. I'm for the PC, but things change and I'll go where the market takes me.

Hmmm well this is certainly an interesting read. IMO i really wouldnt want UT on next generation consoles for the sole reason FPS's suck on consoles. Unless we get a controller scheme that handled FPS's like the N64 controller did, then ill retract my statement. All you Turok and goldeneye fans out there know what im talking about. The controller was laid out just right and the stick manuevered very smoothly it felt like a damn mouse at times.

Consoles are really fun and can do a lot PC's can't. But still, some things just belong on the PC. A simple statement, but those who have played from Sonic on the Genesis to Halo on the Xbox, with Wolfenstein 3D, Duke Nukem 3D, Half-Life, and Unreal on PC and then Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 will know what I mean. Both have pros and cons, but I like PC. A healthy dose of UT on the Dreamcast never hurt no one, though. :)

I'm impressed. I didn't think that this would actually be making its way on to a console at all. But to hear its going on the nextgen consoles is awesome. Why is that? Well I'm all for the non-PC online gaming market, I think its something that definitely needs to be grown and made mainstream. One of my reasons for that is it promotes competitive gaming to another audience. Those who can't keep up with expanding PC tech, and those who don't want to spend money on upgrading there PC constantly. Joe Avrige, with his crapy PC but brand new Xbox360 needs nothing more to get to the fragging. He won't have to worry about FPS issuse, because more the likely everyone else will be having the same if any at all.

To comment on the movment of the game on the console, I think it'll be just fine. If anything they may model it after UC2 which from what I understand has a vary well set up movment system. Im pretty sure it wont be like Pariah, reason being that Epic didn't make Pariah. Its mearly runing off the Unreal Engen.

What I'm hoping is that the PS3 versions online play is just as good as the Xbox360's online play. We all know that the Xbox360s Internet play as far ease of use, and reliability will be the leader in the market. That is unless Nintendo or Sony have some kinda sleeper plan to blow XBox out of the water.
