freeiPod finally arrived a couple days ago. I now own a current gen (color) 20g iPod.

So, problem is it's too damn small and I can't stand the idea of an unreplacable battery. I could exchange it for a 60g iPod and pay the $80 or so difference, but that still leaves me with the abttery problem. iRiver's current offerings are pretty miserable, capacity wise, and Creative doesn't look much better. What can I do?

You could give it to me and you wouldn't have to worry about it. Then you could hire me to run around behind you singing your favorite songs. I'm not travel-sized, but it would solve the problem of needing to have music. BTW, my old four piece latin combo might be available as well.

The battery IS replaceable. It isn't that hard, from what I've discovered, you just have to be careful, and follow the instructions.

I bought a new battery for my 4g iPod for only 19 bucks shipped... Techrestore.com. It even got here the next day (fastest shipping I've ever seen). They'll even do repairs for you, if you don't want to do it yourself.

I got mine for free as well, so I figured 19 bucks just to keep it running longer and harder was a worthwhile investment.
