Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but I just happened on this by accident and the page looked recent. Alan Willard is talking about Vertice Editing and how the new Engine is so different than the old one. It's a cool look at what we can expect from U2!

Yeah nice!
Makes you feel that Epic's next game ISN'T going to be merely a "run around in abandoned warehouses" game.

... oh give me a home, where the buffalo roam....

Exactly. That's what I'm looking forward to seeing in U2 and UW.

Well, who's to say this is the unreal warfare editor? Looks to me that this is just another version of of UEd that no one can wait to get their hands on ;)
That "bridge" looking button is possibly a corridor creator, looks cool. I especially like the terrain ed button. I'm looking forward to this editor in Unreal 2.

OK, thanks. I see it now. I still think maybe this Unreal Warfare editor is the same as the Unreal2 editor is... but that's just an assumption because those UnrealEd pics we saw a month ago that was being used for Unreal 2 were build 633 as well. Case in point, we're all still looking forward very much to laying our grubby little hands on this "toy"

I think we should assume that "Unreal Warfare" is being used in the sense of "Epic's development of the Unreal Engine" and not "UT2"... at least for a little while.:)
In which case, I would say that, yes, this probably is the Unreal 2 editor as well...

Oh yeah, I agree completely. I never said this was for the Unreal Warfare game. In fact, in my initial post I said that it was a good indication of what we would see in U2. The fact that Epic has renamed their engine to be the same as the name (possibly) of their next evolution of Unreal Tournament is what is confusing everyone.

We won't likely see anything from UW for a long, long time. You can also assume that this may be what the U2 editor will look like. I'm sure the UW editor will transform with the changing technology by the time the UW game is released.
