I'm having a problem with the hitsounds on UTcomp

Normally when I hit someone it should have a different pitch according to the damage I made. But instead I only get one pitch and even though I try to adjust it through the utcomp menu (F5) it doesnt make a difference.
It's pretty annoying since I cant tell if I landed a full LG or if it was just splash damage....

Does anyone know how to go about fixing this problem?

Is there an .ini file that controls the hitsounds?

i always thought UTComp did do that, but if you say it doesn't I guess I never really used it enough. What you could do is check the TAM ini, I know that has different pitch settings for splash damage or just a HS.

Hope that helped.:)

If it is the latest version of UTComp (1.7a) the info should be in either the user.ini or the ut2004.ini

I'll post when I get get a chance to check.

I even tried downloading the Quake hitsound from another thread.
The problem remains the same

It seems that CPMA is not working....

Anyone know how to fix that? (or where the hell are the files for it?)
