UT3 Style Mutators for UT2004 [b2 - Vehicles!]

And here it is! I finally finished the beta 3 version of the UT3 style mutators. It now includes:

1. UT3 Weapons:
Version: Beta 2.0
All of the weapons from UT3 converted for use in UT2004. That includes sounds, functionality, visuals and icons.

2. UT3 Vehicles:
Version: Beta 1.1
All the vehicles converted from UT3 for use in UT2004. That includes sounds, functionality, tooltips and some visuals.

3. UT3 Instagib:
Version: Beta 1.0
Instagib with UT3 Instagib Rifles.

4. UT3 Like the Back of My Hand:
Version: Beta 1.0
A mutator that emulates the UT3 achievement "Like the Back of My Hand". It displays the amount of pickups on the map and gives you an announcement and logs it if you manage to find all the pickups in a map.

Known bugs (taken from readme):

Weapons:
1. Impact Hammer: It doesn't knock items off players.
2. Enforcer, Stinger, Sniper: The tracer colour is not the same.
3. Biorifle: It doesn't have the blob at the end of it once charged.
4. Shock Rifle: The skin isn't entirely the same, however, it can't be due to UE2 limitations. Will use particles later.
5. AVRiL: The lock on crosshair isn't right.
6. Rocket Launcher: It charges faster than its animation shows.
7. Translocator: The EM field skin might show some anomalies.

Vehicles:
1. Leviathan: Doesn't have destroyable turrets.
2. Hellfire SPMA: Bot support isn't complete.
3. Scorpion: Can steer too good when boosting.
4. Overall: Steering and speed might feel incorrect.
5. Vehicles still use UT2004 meshes.

Instagib:
1. No zoom Instagib yet.

Overall:
1. Please note that the feeling might be not identical to UT3 as the values were usually just copied over from UT3 to UT2004. Yet that way you still have some UT2004 feel which eliminates most issues people mention about original UT3 weapons.
2. Not tested online thoroughly, but should work for the most part.
3. The armour pickups won't appear in the HUD.

Unrar UT3Style4UT2004-B3.rar into your UT2004 folder. If you want to do it manually, follow the guide below.

Unreal Tournament 3 weapons, pickups and vehicles converted to Unreal Tournament 2004. This pack gives you four mutators:
1. UT3 Weapons:

Why not play UT3 instead?

Good work but IMHO I'd rather play UT99 than UT2004 with UT99style mod enabled, or vice versa (And etc.).

ut2004 online feels much smoother, 2k4 has better ui better, it functions better.

Yes, UT2004 with UT3 (NOT UT99, they're different) weapons is better than spending money for a game that is even worse and less popular than what you have. Plus, UT2004 is yet the most custom content having game, so you can basically have U1, UT99, U2, U2XMP, UT3, UT2003, UC and UC2 weapons all in UT2004.

So, can't you get on topic? Any bugs/requests/notes or anything?

You getting weapon models and all other corresponding models thrown into this mix? That and visual effect mimicry so they respectfully replicate their UT III counterparts. And can we get pictures of the vehicles in action... Im abit lazy to install UT 04 on this computer since my other one's motherboard decided to say. I don't like you anymore and doesn't work.

People who had nothing to say? I'm sorry, but saying that I'd rather play the full and true experience of UT99 rather than the gimped ''UT99 style'' mutator in UT2004 is something I believe to be valid.
I know you've done some work for the weapon, scripting, etc, and I commend you for that. I know it takes time, and I must admit I wouldn't be able to do a tenth of this work...
However, I fail to see how this would be a more popular endeavour than the original game. Sure, the GUI will be the one of 2K4, and the system reqs will be lower. However UT3 was also criticized for its different gameplay (No aerial ballet), so if that is changed for your UT2004 mod then it's going to be the same kind of ''half-experience'' as the UT99 style for UT2004 (Which conserves double-jump when it is enabled AFAIK). And as I said I'd rather play the full experience if I ever want to get any of it (ie ''real'' UT99 > UT99 style for UT2004). Of course if you do all the movements and stuff as well, that will be good, but then you face the same criticism as UT3 faces. I find it an odd situation, so I'm just pointing this out.
Of course that also means I'm not too hot on downloading the mod, because I kinda miss the point (Well I wouldn't really say that it is pointless as ''fact'', because that is a lie, but it's kinda difficult for me to phrase it, because of language difficulty.)
Anyways still, it's one more mod so it doesn't hurt. :) That's one good thing about Unreal.

Yeap, I'll probably add static meshes to the Beta 2.
About the visual effects, I don't have enough emitter knowledge, sorry :(
And there's nothing much to see about the vehicles - the Levi fires beams, minigun bullets, shock balls that explode on touch and rockets in bursts. And the primary won't home now.

Well, you should of said that when you posted the first post :p My point wasn't to take UT3 players from playing it, I just wanted to extend UT2004 so it has UT3 feel. There are a lot of UT2004 players, and I'm sure some of them would like having another fine set of weapons in their MapMixer mutator list :) Sure, there are always side effects and different feels in different game, yet you have to admit that with modified weapons the feel really goes closer to UT3.

Also, mostly I make them for myself - Unreal II weapons, UT3 weapons and also upcoming UT2003 weapons - all made by me, and works very well with MapMixer. One time you can have UT3 weapons on Torlan, the other - UT2003 weapons on AS-Convoy, the other - Unreal II weapons on CTF-GrassyKnoll etc. That makes the game very dynamic, yet still have its own feeling.

And yes, mods and other custom content are really easy to make compared to other games. Probably that was one of the elements of Unreal series success. This mod system basically allows me to modify the game just any way I want...

ive installed it but it dont work. I cant see the weapons while playing or in the weapon file only there name .what do u thingks wrong. i used win zip if that maked a diff

Hmm, check your UT2004.log file.
And what do you mean about the bulkiness? The point that it's mesh takes like one third of the screen? Well, I don't have meshes yet, so I can't do that.
