UT3 + Legos = Brick It

An interesting new modification is in production for UT3, called "Brick It." Currently I can't say much on the modification, as the main site is in German, but here's some pretty nice looking renders. Perhaps one of our German members would be so kind as to tell us what the mod is about?

Wait, you're saying armies fighting with interlocking brick equipment is fictional? Those are photographs, my friend! Legos are real military assets, and so are the brave fighting forces that field them in battle.

Glad to see someone giving our interlocking brothers in arms the respect they deserve.

i was about to protest cause i pretty much only know them as "LEGOs" but it seems you're actually right. wikipedia lists this little note from LEGO's 1970/1980's catalogue:

[...] Please always refer to our bricks as 'LEGO Bricks or Toys' and not 'LEGOS.' [...]

as for the mod - looks interesting, kind of like LEGO battlefield maybe? i'll definitely keep an eye out for this one!

There really isn't anything to translate.

The gist of everything there is: "We're not using the CryEngine2 anymore.", "We got a new host and website.", "We got some more screenshots." and "We're looking for people for our project".

Quite frankly, the lack of even the most basic information and the focus on eye-candy kinda resulted in a "Careful! Vaporware!" feeling to me (I realize it's a free mod, just saying).

On the other hand, the renders do look pretty impressive and I imagine the "lego" aspect could result in some interesting gameplay so am eager to see if the mod will progress.
