UT3 Active Player Information - Where to find other online players

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

For those of you interested, there is still a group of people playing this game on a pretty regular basis.

Join #ut3pugs on GameRadius and idle there. Also join my Steam Group:

http://steamcommunity.com/groups/NAUT3

If you don't use Steam don't worry, you can install the client here: http://steampowered.com/

If you don't want to activate your copy on Steam, just click "add non-steam game" in the left hand window of your games tab.

The great thing about Steam groups is that anyone can post an announcement. For example, if you want to fill a VCTF server, simply post an announcement with the server information and IP address.

You can use both of these to quickly organize matches with fellow UT3 players, as well as play in pick up games.

Also check out:

http://ut3pugs.midnightgaming.net/

This is the website for the UT3 PUGs community. Here you can find tutorials for new players as well as links to map pack downloads, and more information about UT3 pick up games.

New players are always welcome.

Currently mostly CTF and TDM are played, it is kind of difficult to get enough players to do VCTF and Warfare, but if the interest is there its definitely a possibility.

Because we don't play UT99 anymore?

Don't get me wrong, it was a great game for many years... but some of us have moved on.

JD, for somebody who likes to keep attacking the channel, you sure seem to enjoy your time there every night and day idling/chatting, if you don't like it you are welcome to leave.

I digress.....

The pug has its days, for example about 2 weeks ago we were having multiple 4v4 and 5v5 (even a 6v6 once) ctf pugs a night. Things have cooled off last few days but it has its spurts.

Also thanks for making this post bleed, you beat me to it, I really appreciate that. :)

-----------------------------------------------------------

In regards to the website, I would like to get more people involved from here also, if you guys want to use it as launch pad for some weekend tourneys let me know, I'll be happy to help. If you have any suggestions or recommendations or just want to help, let me know I could always use another hand :)

In regards to the duel league, its mostly a test league to see how I can manage it etc..., if there is enough interest we can always add more leagues and gametypes.

This thread is no longer about UT99. You can all stop talking about it now.

So how about compiling a list of the best populated servers for different gametypes? More work, but would improve this threads informationality by a lot.

The only reason why I'm still there is because I'm too lazy to remove the channel from my perform list. :c

Also, lolol, if stating pug stats is your definition of attack, perhaps www.dictionary.com would be a good place for you.
