    Unfortunately its just not that easy.
    if UT2Vote was just a Voting mutator like Mapvote was/is then its no problem but the Voting section which includes all the GameTypes etc is only about 20% of UT2Vote.
    Sencondly UT2Vote does write to the UT2004.ini file but through its Multi section, also UT2004 has 2 command sets, the default ini settings (what you are talking about) and the commandline settings (what UT2Vote currently uses).
    Now should UT2Vote switch to the Default ini settings, that means UT2Vote now looses all control of the settings as well of itself simply because anyone can over ride a default setting with a commandline setting as commandline takes top priority.

    Even so at this stage it would be a nightmare to change so much for a small % of the UT community that want stats recorded on Custom games, its just not worth it.
    UT2Vote is already over 1 meg which probably makes it the biggest Mutator ever so as you can emagine it would take months and at the end of the day it would be better to scrap UT2Vote all together and start again.

    Maybe we create a new voting mut and remove that section from UT2Vote :)
