    as i often get questions on how to add ut2vote to the startup-line, maybe this discription is usefull for the faq/manual:

    where you can find the server-startup-line belongs to, if you rent a server as a pure gameserver, if it's a standard linux-root-server, a windows-server, or your home machine.
    on the pure gameserver you mostly can't access the startup-line. In that case, the host often offers another way to add a startup-mutator. If not, you still can use webadmin to start ut2vote.
    in all other cases, there is something like a startup.bat or a RunServer.sh. some kind of start-script. In that script you'll find something like :
    @echo off
    :10
    ucc server ONS-Torlan?game=Onslaught.ONSOnslaughtGame ini=UT2004.ini log=TypeLogNameHere.log
    copy server.log servercrash.log
    goto 10

    now in the second line (the long one) you add
    ?mutator=UT2Vote42.UT2Vote
    before the ini and log part comes up without any spaces!
    so it looks like this
    ucc server ONS-Torlan?game=Onslaught.ONSOnslaughtGame?mutator=UT2Vote42.UT2Vote ini=UT2004.ini log=TypeLogNameHere.log

    If you can't access the startupline at all, you still may start the mutator by a webintervace your provider offers to you, or via webadmin. The bad part about webadmin is, that you have to add the mutator again after every restart / crash.
