ut2004 vehicles

There's a sorely lack of any real ut2004 forums so far as I've seen.

A stretch back I found this great site...

...which seems to be down.

More than any other site, it was primarily focused only on ut2004 vehicles. I went through their inventory and downloaded most of it, fortunately. Over a couple weeks I tested every single one of those vehicles before I was satisfied with what I wanted...

...but I kept all of the .zips just in case I ever wanted to switch them.

My onslaught games are very fun because of these, with the excpeption of that one with the starships because I can only use that on that CTF map:

There's a numer of good sites that still have vehicles on them...

Thank you, I found the flamethrower vehicle, and the scorpion mkv. I am building a group of good quality ground vehicles. I found most of them on http://unrealtournament2004.filefront.com/
I use Google but I need the name of the vehicle that I am looking for. Too many unreal tournament 2004 sites to just type in unreal tournament 2004 vehicle mod.
I currently have the:

Annihilation vehicle mod
Altered Vehicle
Anti—air hellbender
FlakRat mod
Assault Scorpion mod
RoboStorm mod
Vyngorilla
Battle Bikes

Airpower mod (don't care about planes but one was to turn into a robot but could not get it to work)

You have to cycle the weapons in the plane until it says "Transform" then hit "Fire"

oh I'm glad I noticed this.
2k4 is still my favorite UT and to this day I'm still discovering new mods to play with it. more ridiculous vehicles in ONS is right up my alley :tup:

There may be other places online, I'll poke around, but if worse comes to worse I have the .zip on my home computer. I can probably toss that into my mediafire, in the "not mine" folder, and link you to that.

That tripod is from Half-Life 2, and in HL2 it's called a Strider (and you can't ride it in HL2, I think it's supposed to be alive, some sort of artificially created organic/mechanical life form created by aliens), so presumably there's a Half-Life 2 mod for UT2004.

in post 62, there's a screenshot of the Strider. I don't know if you can ride it in UT2004, or if it's just an enemy.

You'll have to start downloading from about post 252, as before that, the links I tried were dead - the links in post 252 onwards work, and you can get;

By the way, how do you get a specific vehicle or enemy to appear in a map (I mean when you're playing UT2004, not when you're programming a map or game mode)? Do you need to download a mutator or something? I'm at work so I can't try the files yet.

Hey all, I am reviving this thread because I am looking for the HortonVehicles mod (it contains HortonVehicles.u among other things).

Almost all the links posted years ago in this thread are now dead. Is there any resource (even if it's via web.archive.org, which I've already tried..) that still allow you to download custom UT2004 files? It seems like everything is slowly disappearing from the internet.
