UT - Team Last man Standing mod

I was bored and wondered what it would be like to write a mod for UT so I knocked up Team Last man Standing this afternoon. I've already done this mod for SiN and KingPin so I knew what I needed to do. The engine is fun to work with and the only problem I've had so far was the menu system. I wanted an LMS team game subclassed off DMPlus, not TeamDM, and the menu didn't want to let me have the "balance teams" checkbox for the bots.
It wasn't hard to fix though, I just grabbed the menu files and altered them to new classes for my own use.
If anyone is interested, I'll tidy this up and release it at the weekend, unless none of you like a team based LMS *grin*
It works off individual frags so it is NOT just a Team DM with a negative frag count. Players can be eliminated individually and the winners are the team with one or more members left.
It was a fun way to fill in 3 hours though /~unreal/ubb/html/wink.gif

I just sat down today and re-coded the whole thing to subclass of TeamDeathMatch to sort out all the menu problems. Surprisingly, with the knowledge gained from the first version, it was easy. The only glitch I had was figuring out a "clean" way to end the match. The stats proggie barfs at it at the moment, but I'm sure there's some way of sorting that out after the mod is finished.
The endgame part was a problem because team games only like to finish once you reach a frag or timelimit, not when there's just one team left /~unreal/ubb/html/smile.gif
I like coding in this engine - count me as a convert guys. I took a liking to a C++ coding style when I worked on the SiN arcade machine (ReDeMpTiOn) and this script feels a lot like C++... Now, I'll finish up TLMS for the weekend (You know you want it with the bells and whistes, like menu options that make sense etc.) and then figure out where the good UT coding crews are and join one of them.
