UT Skins in Unreal Ed

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Maybe you should’ve searched the forums first for tutorial websites before you make useless posts like this. AngelMapper’s first tutorial would’ve taught you that Unreal Editor uses different sub-browsers. There’s one for UKX animation files, which point to skins if they’re built-in, otherwise you can substitute them in under each actor’s properties if you’re trying to make a matinee, for example. If you’re trying to create skins, don’t do that in Unreal Editor, please don’t, I’ll just have to laugh and then hit you on the head.

Um, I can't exactly understand the mood you've set in that post. I'm guessing that you failed to use Unreal Editor 2.0? But how does that acknowledge your question/my response earlier about sub-browsers, searching forums, and reading tutorials first before making threads like these?

I'd say try a Simple Program Like Milkshape out for model designs for UT 99 and then not sure for the UVunwrapping but I'd see about Paintshop Pro or such for the skinning end of the spectrum.
