  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

wassup folks....
i have a p3-500, 128m ram, blah blah...
w/ a v3 3000, latest drivers.

the game is VERY dark...
i've tried to play but its just so dark i cant even see players unless they're shootin' at me, which blows ***

I've tried setting the brightness w/ the slider in the GUI, thats max'd
then i tried using 'preferences/advanced console' and set the gamma there...
nothing...the highest level is 1 and thats
still the lightest the slider will go...
please help because the ****in demo ran ok, a little dark but definitly playable...
i wanna frag!@$#$^%$&

thnx

OK....changing to a 16bit desktop helped a bit...its still very dark, but kinda playable now...
shadowy corners are still pitch black to the point ill get lost on that lava-ctf map

i also have my monitor totally max'd for contrast and brightness
apparently its a dark monitor, although it is 2+ yrs (acer 56e 15"), so maybe its 'fading?'

anyway, any extra hints/help are mucho appreciated!
