updated server and now people cant join

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

i just installed the new fhi patch and now people that have joined server before cannot join the get a version mismatch error and get disconnected.
was there something i needed to change in so that they get the new fhi.u file?

oh ok so there ia nothing from the server that can be done the clients have to install the patch and find out about the patch on their own? just want to make sure.

yes, that's very typical for them to do. maybe do the mastermnd on your server, might force them to download the latest version. i recommend telling them to update patch because it is more than server side fixes, so they can enjoy single player action better.
