Update on BrownCow's Server *ADMINS READ*
Ok, for the few people who give a **** my server is going to be down for a bit. A week or so. I had to do some stuff to the computer the server was on and in the process i had to delete my 2 gig ut folder.
When the server is back up i have some goodies in store. I'm in the process of making a super mutator for it.
It will consist of the following:
(all items listed can be alter/changed/disabled/enabled on the fly in game, no need for map switch or whatnot
I don't know how easy it will be to do everything, there is the possibility something might not be able to be done, but i am pretty sure i can do the following..
No stamina toggle!! (finally)
no prone toggle
if i get far enough i'll also make a mode where you cannot go prone if there is an enemy within a settable distance, ie prone hopping fix. (dependant on how long it will be before it is fixed)
no leaning toggle
low grav toggle with a setting as to the amount of gravity
weapon/item restriction and setting abilities, ie you can set it so every user has X weapons or you can set so it removes X weapons from loadouts. This is also changable on the fly, you set what they should have and execute a command to go through the players and make it so. Also in the long run i'll make it so you can specify these variables specific to players(maybe) and teams.
Things that will most likly come at a later date:
i MAY have a map voting system where it halts the automatic switching of maps and gives the users an amount of time to vote on what they want.
i MAY have it so you can enable a before match amount of time where you could enable the ability for users to vote for their teams camo as well as make battle plans ect ect.
I will make a varabile as to the distance at which the 40mm explodes as well as the amount of time the frag grenade waits to go off
toggle suicide damage (hurting yourself) (this is mainly to combine with other options to create the ability to grenade jump, don't flame this, i don't care)
toggle stat keeping on players, I am not sure if this would be just server based or not. The server would show stats at the end of the match like accuracy and whatnot for each player. The player's hud would also have a little report thing to show them stats. So you could run around and use spray weapons and just watch your hit percentage do nothing and the bullets fired stat to just skyrocket I mean server based or not as to if the server has it disabled then players can't see their own scores. That would be to prevent players from arguing/talking about their "stats" at the end/during the match when the server has decided to disable the feature. Possibly a toggle for both. In the very very long run this could turn into sending out the information at the end of the match to a master server where players stats are kept.
OK boss walked in on my while i was writing so i quick posted.. There is more i'll put here now. I am really tired so i know i'm missing things.
The whole teams start switching will prob make it's way in here.
In the long run i want to make it so inf can do more teams (instead of 8 vs 8, 4 vs 4 vs 4 vs 4), but then i need to figure out a way to do this without having maps needed to be changed. I'm sure that can't be done so this will prob never happen
Since there will be so many commands you can do, there will be a command list command to see all of what you can do and a command to list your current option setups...
Ok, there is a lot of stuff i'm not talking about, partly because i can't think right now, i am running on 2 hours of sleep after a long nite of computer problems.. Only to come to work to have MORE COMPUTER PROBLEMS!!!

I know MUF servers have their "leaning ban" so obviously this would be of some interest to them. If any admins have things like what i've posted above that you would like in a mutator to give you more options as far as the game goes please feel free to post/email me with them. I'm making this mutator for myself but it is applicable for many people i'm willing to bet.
Oh, and a new "scoring" system. I'll put in all the instances where "points" could be awarded. ie, if you shoot an enemy that is shooting at a teammate you can set the point value of the kill... Many things like that, you'll just set how you want it. So you could just do the good ole 1 pt for a kill or you could do a much more complicated system.
