Thanks. I was kind of worried that it wouldn't display the page correctly. I'm using Yahoo!'s crap-ass Page Builder program, and sometimes it has a mind of it's own. Comments/Suggestions are appreciated.

Heeey, pretty nice....Transparent gif.'s eh? hmm..If by transparent you mean a picture in which the browser is instructed to "ignore" a certain color and allow the background to show through...I think there's a Photoshop plugin that'll do that for you, and there's also a few shareware programs as well..Or, you could *gasp* learn how to HTML it yourself...
Nice pictures, by the way,.I'd like to see a bit more Manga/anime styled stuff, if you have any lying around.. Tell ya what, if you can send me a pic of an origional manga-style character, cleanly inked, I'll bust out my Mad Photoshop skillz(tm) and color it up for you. (See my webpage for examples) And if you're nice, I may even make it transparent /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yeah. I made a ton of anime/manga drawings for my art class during my senior year in High School (real high quality, if I do say so myself), but I didn't have a scanner back then so I couldn't do anything with them. I still have some of them lying around, but they're so faded now that you can barely make out what they are, and I doubt my scanner could even pick 'em up anymore. I suppose I'll make some more eventually, but right now I just don't have the time or the desire. I originally wanted to do some more manga-style pencil sketches for my college art class, but the teacher (we called him "The Fuerer") was real strict about what we could and could not draw. He didn't consider anime/manga to be "professional" art, so I had to settle for realistic drawings.

Funny story: After I busted my ass for 4 months drawing all those pictures for my High School art class, I still only managed to squeeze by with a D. The teacher was very specific about what he wanted us to draw and, unfortunately, that didn't include drawing popular anime characters. Needless to say, he wasn't very happy that I completely ignored his instructions and "did my own thing". Why is it that almost all art teachers are Nazi control-freaks?

P.S. The only images I need converted into transparent gifs are the two "dancing girls" at the top of the page and the bar along the bottom. That way they won't "overlap" the background image.

Yeah, I firmly believe that the school system should stop employing Nazis in the art department. "Welcome to art 100, I am not going to proceed to teach you how to draw exactly like I do." (And look how sucessful he is now, teaching a high school art class...Hmmmm....) Well anyway, hope you keep on doing your own stuff regardless. Live the dream! (just not in class =P)

It doesn't look quite as good as the origional 'cause it's a .gif now instead of a .jpg, and I had to eliminate a bunch of the bordering aliased pixels... By the way, you owe me $8.50. I do this for a living you know... J/K..Consider it a early christmas present.

Hey Ak, I found a way to get the best of both worlds. I'm going to split it up into three seperate images, with the transparent GIFs for the bar, and the high quality JPEG for the center figure. Example:

The only problem is: Once I seperated them, the GIFs were no longer transparent. You think you could work your magic on them again? Or, better yet, tell me how to do it myself in Photoshop so I don't have to come to you every time I need an alteration.

wow, thats bad, a D in art. I have AP art and my teacher gives As on everything. last semester, I did none of the homework and I had an E in the class. But since I had helped him on the computer, making stuff for him and teaching him how to use photoshop, I got an A and some college creds /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Okay. One last favor to ask. I've got the three parts of the bar, now I need someone to put them all together into one nice, shiny, transparent GIF (or, again, tell me how to do it myself and I'll be more than happy to). Here are the three images from left to right:

The bottom image still needs to be converted to a transparent GIF (it turns out that the bars don't match up when I just mirror the left side). I know I'm asking alot of you guys, but I really appreciate all the work you're doing for me. Thanks in advance.

I updated again. I added some nice photos of Japan to my wallpaper section. This is probably as much as I'm ever going to do. I only have about 500Kb left in my account, so adding any more images (at least large ones) is out of the question.
