UnWheel EC Questions

  • Are the issues resulting from the latest Epic patch resolved?
  • Steven, what gametype is that version of LostGods for?
  • Do you guys have any sort of hard date from Epic as to when UT2004 EC will be released?

1. If you are refering to the broken multiplayer with the latest patches, then yes that is fixed, Unwheel EC works very well with patch 3270.

2. The new lost gods is a race map, a very big one at that, form what I've seen it's very different form his earlier version.

3. No, all we know is "This fall".

UnWheel EC will be downloadable before the end of the weekend, you will need UT2k4 to play it though.

I've been racing round all my favourite tracks recently.. in anticipation of the EC...

I woudnt be the combo whore I am... without owning UT2k4 ;)

Hey any improvements to the camera system? I liked the behindview cam (the camera view that automatically turned when you turned) but didn't like how i couldn't move it back or anything or well I didn't know how too..

EC has two different camera choices in it, the first is the standard UT2k4 style where you control the camera with the mouse, and the second is a new, non-rigid, behind view camera that gives the game a more traditional driving game feel (perfect for gamepads). Both of these cameras can be zoomed in and out with the mouse wheel.
