Whats up with the new game, Unreal Warfare, that i've been hearing about?

Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. The sites for this game (www.unrealwarfare.com etc) have all been registered so it's obviously getting made. Not sure wether it's UT2 or a seperate game. Sounds like some sort of team game like Team Fortress if u ask me.

Someone told me over on the Polycount board that there was an article in PC Gamer about this. What he told me is that Unreal 2 is the sequel to Unreal, and Unreal Warfare is the sequel to UT. Guess it means Warfare will be like UT with the new and improved engine.
Remember that Epic uses an improved version of the Unreal Engine as each Unreal game take shape. Unreal Warfare will most likely not begin production until after Unreal 2 is out. UF's engine will no doubt kick a large portion of ass though

Unreal 2 is being produced by Legend Entertainment, the people behind Return to Na Pali Unreal mission pack and The Wheel of Time.
Unreal Warfare is being produced by Epic.
Unreal 2 will be a sequel to the original Unreal set "on the far edge of the galaxy" and will be a single player game with multiplayer capabilities like the original.
Unreal Warfare's nature has been very much under wraps, although we do know it will at the least be designed for more for larger battles, as in the Tribes sense. Rumors have also circulated that it may involve a MMRPG elements as well.
