Europe's Epic Developer Day and Unreal University were highly successful events that sold out within hours. Due to high demand, we are bringing Unreal University to Montreal this fall.
The first event of its kind in Canada, Unreal University provides Unreal Engine 3 and Unreal Development Kit (UDK) developers with hands-on learning experiences directed by Markus Arvidsson and James Tan, two seasoned UE3 instructors who have led previous Unreal University programs.
Session topics include getting started with UDK, level design best practices, mobile game development tips and tricks and more. The full program schedules for both days soon will be posted to http://sijm.ca/2011/schedule/unreal-university.
Also at MIGS: Epic Games Senior Gameplay Designer Lee Perry will keynote the design track. His lecture is entitled, "How Prototype-Based Design Shaped the Gears of War Series."
