Unreal 1 game mod for UT2004

They got some problems with their website but it seems they have all their downloads and they will put them back

I got that mod on my HD, it's pretty cool. The Unreal weapons mutator alone if worth it. You can play what I think is a beta version of Unreal with a different intro, but you need a large HD to hold all the maps and stuff.

And you can get the same Unreal feel to it by using the Game Speed mut at .90

Huh, this old mod again?
The only thing I liked about it was playing as the enemies/monsters. Overall, not worth the download honestly.

Until it's back up, can someone maybe make a list of the OGG songs it adds to UT2004? Just checking if there's anything new.

Zeality...I can answer your question, but I prefer the russian Unreal Classic mod than this one. There are no new music files at all...I think you got all the remixes, the pack includes also few remixes of Frieza but they are not good at all. And also custom music like Alternative Reality it seems, which was used in the Zora's episode 3 mappack for original Unreal and also Restricted Area, used in the same mappack, only I think episode 4. Restricted area is by Ivory and Alternative reality by Westis/ dct2 it seems.

Yeah it was never finished, but it is not so damn full of bugs, it doesn't contain forced crashes if you try to skip map....etc and the map remake is very creatively done with nice twists to the puzzles.
While the dots conversion should have sticked more to original, but it didn't and he spawned it with his own ideas which are not that great, in fact his decisions always ruined atmosphere. Dots may be good in some special coding but when it comes to gameplay ideas or innovations, he can't do anything good and it is ridiculously hard with the ****ed up ai.

The Unreal Classic, developed by vampirus, is somewhat easier, yet better, than this one.

This one rocked, but it doesn't seem no one bothered with it AFAIK. Shame, since it was one of the really few UT2k4 mods that I liked.
I remember the Skaarj being really hard in that Chizra remake too.

You are forgetting the fact that I was working on this mod ALONE. Do you have any idea how MUCH work this involved? I wasted so many hours and hours of my life on this modification to get it done, and here you just badmouth me for everything I do, how rude.

That was just my opinion, the mod is not anywhere perfection, in fact it contains too much of annoying bugs and the AI is not balanced at all and does stupid things. And the way how you spammed edge of na pali with skaarjsnipers and make the ship area cut off of geometry is another thing or your other decisions in there. Some decisions were nice, but the warlord showing up more times, that was mot necessary he was supposed to be at nyleve only, the paths you saw in FHUB4 and noork are simply for the bird1 pawns, they fly towards that point at one point of the map when you trigger them, warlord was not supposed to be there.

I also didn't get why the mod included some "fag" pawns and stuff, even if they were unused, I guess you can add them to invasion though.

I was afraid you would find this topic also...seems like I was right, you just must know where someone tells anything about you and you always want to discover it. Geez, it's like if you had some kind of obsession about this.

In fact I wanted to ask you recently about your ONP conversion to Unreal, which you have not finished, I believe I can solve the BSP bugs and can help you with the project so you can revive it, but I guess you wouldn't want...

Trust me I saw swiss cheese maps already and I could rebuild them in a good way or optimise the map more. I guess in ONP they rebuilt it with just commands, because you can add more values in there.

Yes I agree that map had a bit too many of the snipers, I wanted it to be more of a tank rambling action so I added some more enemies than what it originally had.

Yea I used to play a lot of invasion while developing this mod so I added some extra pawns that I solely had for invasion in my mind.

That wouldn't be necessary anyway.. after Unreal 227g patch is out, I'll just simply compile its' *.u files for Unreal 1 and... there, we can play ONP maps directly without any conversion.

Ah, but I want the maps to be playable for 225 too, so if you won't do that, i guess I will do that myself and do some conversions in future.
