in the castle i am making, the outside of the overhangs at the top of the walls block people from falling for a certain distance out into the air, but if you put fly on, you can go back up, but not down. how do i fix it?

I just had one of those, by making some trim and such semisolid, and rebuilding the BSP a few times, it just disappeared, just keep rebuilding, and it will get rid of itself. I'm sure they may be an intelligent way to get rid of it, but it comes and goes by itself too.

-go in zoneview and look wich brush could make a bad bsp cut, then move the bad brush 4 units inot another direction and look again, or make it semi or solid
-export total map, and import again
-rotate and move total map 90 degree and rebuild
-buy a new pc

and if the invisble wall oly occurs aftera full rebuild, and not aftr an only geometry rebuild, try doing seperate rebuilds then, so first and only geometry, then light, then bots, then save

I find this happens a lot when I have an overhang that ends in a 'sharp edge'. You can fix this by adding trim around the outside.
Subtracting will not fix collision errors which is werd, adding brushes cures 90% of them :\

4 example, pretend in the first pic that the top surface has an error so that you can walk to the right of the edge past where the surface ended.
Add some trim (the top of the trim brush should be level with the top surface that has the collision error.
This should fix 90% of these problems.
