UMOD Browser for 2004

I'm having some trouble installing a ut4mod file for UT2004. I figure that the only way to install it will be by using the UMOD Browser (as suggested in the FAQs), but the program that the link leads to does not support ut4mod files. Is there another UMOD Browser that is compatible with UT2004? Or am I just stuck with a ut4mod file I can't use???

You could use UT2004 Map Installer. It supports ut4mod files and installs chosen mods/maps/skins/mutators automaticly.

Rename the ut4mod to ut2mod and it works fine .

Right. Thanks for the help guys. I did find a way that worked, quite similar to what SaD said.

I changed the file extension to a UMOD file so that the UMOD Browser would read it. It turns out that all 3 of the extensions are the same type of file. The different file extensions is used to let the installer know which version of the game it is being installed for. I told you this so that if anybody else has this problem, you/they can refer back to this post to help them with their problem.
