Why can't i change my name from

here anymore? it shows i change it so i go into u2xmp and it shows up as "Player" :/ i put it in my u2xmp/system/myuser

ok, heres what was wrong

when he opened his myuser.ini it said

[DefaultPlayer]
Class=1

somehow he was missing some lines, so i had him paste in:

Class=Pawns.Ranger
Name=Player

right inbetween the other two lines

he saved changes, and then got his name working

and everyone lived hapily ever after

the end'

i lied

it wasnt the end

his comp decided to do teh gheyh4x

and change his name back 2 player

but then i sent him teh name bindz
(key=setname name)

now its all gewd

and he has my myuser

so if you see me

in game

winning

its proly him

I got rid of your myuser.ini but now my bindings dont work...somethings wrong :/

For over a year now, I've had to use 'setname=GotBeer?' (bound to ') myself, because the game erases the '?' at the start of every map. I do have name=GotBeer? in the .ini, so that's not the problem. XMP must not like question marks, or Killer.

Well that's for me, so yours should be:

The line Home=Name... is not a bind... It should be "Home=setname ^#CnR_^#UDragonfly" (with a space after setname)

You'll have to redo your bindings again. After you do that, use the colorizer as directed but save the myuser.ini to your desktop and then manually replace the one in your system folder with the new one from your desktop. It's a bug when using certain browsers.
