i have a copy of u2 and full version of u2 xmp but i cant install xmp . i think i must have a orginal u2 cd . but if any crack you know for install xmp on copy cd please help me

Yeah , just as Keasis said you need the legal version of Unreal 2 . If you can spring a couple of bucks go out and buy Unreal2 it's dirt cheap .

This sounds like a "I didn't buy Unreal2 but want people to tell me how I can play it for free" thread. Maybe it isn't, just saying what it sounds like.. I find it funny.. but I'm odd. Ok nevermind, here.. use this. If it's against like, forum policies to post this sort of thing.. feel free to delete it - I'll get the picture. But being as how you can open up google.com and type in "Unreal 2 XMP CD Crack" and find it in 5 minutes (and I know alot of people don't have 5 minutes to spare in their busy day of online gaming and messageboard trolling) I figured I'd save you some time.
This isn't a "replace this file with that file" kind of crack or an executable to be run like all other win32 exec's, what you do is place both files in a directory of your choice. I'll use an example to make this easy for you. Rename the XMP install file to simply "xmp" and rename this crack after you have unzipped it, simply "crack" and place them both on the root of your C: drive. Open up a command prompt (start > run > cmd ) and get to your root directory. If you cannot do this, throw your computer out of your window. But assuming you can, let's move on. Now that you have a command prompt window looking like this:
C:\> _ (<--- blinking underscore!)
Type this:
C:\>crack xmp
And press enter. The install file will start up and allow you to install XMP without the CD being in the drive.
The almighty crack.. it cometh: http://x-gen.org/files/xmp_crack.zip

i do what ever you said but it didnt work again
i renamed crack file as crack and u2xmp as xmp
i open cmd and write

and it says
unreal 2 extended multiplayer setup patcher - gimprus
couldnt open file for xmp patching!!

This guy is no different than most peole here cmon who saying here that they didnt download XMP off mIRC or Bittorrent or what ever you use.
I downloaded XMP from the friggin website. Like most everyone else did ;P I however BOUGHT, U2. In fact I played U2 when it first came out, beat it in a day or two and then uninstalled it and tossed it into my graveyard where it laid dormant for MONTHS. I actually didn't even know about XMP till my friend told me about it.
I don't know what to tell you Shadow, it worked for me when the CD was at said friends house and it worked for everyone else who posted this exact same problem. I have that crack and information listed in about 4 separate "help" threads and each time they reply that it worked. Sorry.

the crack/patch i used just removes the check from the installer
and has a bat file built in all u do is extract the crack files to a folder put the xmp intaller u downloaded in the same folder then dbl click the bat
