I'm really glad you guys enjoyed playing this, i personally expected alot of critique for rushing it out so badly
Leo, the second version is pretty much like the third one, except without gameplay stuff in it, so you're not missing out on anything. I quickly updated it to v3 after that since i still had some time before the new deadline.
Out of my head, significant stuff that v3 actually added were: the crew populating the ship, enemies and item placement, and the ending part with your ship.
And i just found out about the water lillies in the air, someone might just look down a bit while looking at a beautiful skyline, and notice that glaring error :haha:
I think the map doesn't do justice to The Dig like i intended it to be, but i'm glad people noticed and liked the similarities! Originally i had so much more planned, like the astronomy room, underwater area's, transport tunnels through the ocean, the puzzles, even an underground generator cave, i actually did some crude designs for these only to remove them afterwards, ah well deadlines
If anyone cares, here's the artwork for The Dig that i used mostly as a reference (other then playing the game over and over
