Translucent sheet question

Is it possible a translucent sheet viewable through say another translucent sheet? Ie, translucent water viewable through a translucent window... I always get the problem of not being able to view the water through the translucent window.

If this is NOT possible, is there a workaround solution to this, if I want water viewable through a window.

Edit : OK, it seems that it works in an in game playtest but NOT in the editor. ODD

yeah, I've had things like that before where it looks wrong in the editor but appears correctly in-game. I remember spending over an hour trying to make the floor appear under a water sheet's surface, then playtesting a while later and discovering that there wasn't actually any problem. x_x;;
