where can I DL this map from? Everytime I try to join a game while in this map, it takes forever to DL, and then it starts to DL again.

And why is it that it takes so long to DL UW maps?

i think it takes so long because the map is not redirected to another server and snipes server is serving the game along with your and anyone elses map downloads.... eating all his upload capabilities.... i think if i understand correctly

I don't think that's it. Even when there's nobody logged in it downloads very slowly from either Snipe's or the official server.

He's right, Game servers need to redirect file downloads to a ftp server. I'm not quite sure how it works, but it's a must unless your server is on like a T3 or better.
