Just a minor thing, but couldnt epic come up with a more creative way of 'pulling a gun' ... as far as i can see, that flak could have just come out of malcom's back poket....i seriously doubt u could fit a full invitory of weapons in your colon, or where ever you want to hide them...if epic could come up with like teleporting them or making them compactable or just have a pac big enough to hold 'em...this goes back to the whole 'nekked ppl' topic...a grl in a skanky little outfit is not going to beable to successfuly carry a ful arsenal...unless thoes ARE plastic...and hollow :lol:

Agreed. What about an electronic gauntlet atached to the arm that you see a player model touch right before swithing a weapon and having them telleport?

Same here. At first I was "I don't care", then I realized how cool it would be if there was a more believable way people switched weapons, then doing the current weapon switch animation. I think a teleport thing would be cool. :tup:

Maybe even make it less subtle, so you can tell when someone is switching weapons. Like a flare or small particle effect.

You know... i always saw a character swapping weapons in UT2004 and though of how momo in Breath of Fire 3 pulls her weapon just out of thin air... thatd be pretty cool in UT2007... as a matter of fact it might be pretty cool to see a cheap MUT coded to bring these effects to UT2004... and if a feature like this isnt brought to UT2007 it can always be added in with a MUT

That Star Trek Voyager game used a 'translocator buffer' thingwy, allowing for basically the xloc effect. It was cool, and in-tune with the game universe, so i'd be nice to see a better system like that in UT.

If they can think of something "in tune with the game universe" then more power too them.

If not, so long as I can tote 6-10 weapons, and combine them in attacks on people, I don't care.

The only thing near as satisfying as flakbomb>airchunk, or rox>airrox is rox>ltg, or rox>shock, or the infamous combo>ltg. Nothing like killing your enemy with a different gun, before they hit the ground from the attack with the first gun. Despite not being as easy in '99, it's become one of my favorite "Unreal Things" since 2kx.

LOL, a gun hanging from each arm, 1 in your hands, 1 on each leg, 4 on your belt and there's 9 guns right there. Now if you can carry all this without collapsing you won't need a teleportation method of weapon switching. (I'd still love to see someone walking around with 9 visible guns strapped to them, jingling around as they move about).

Have the enforcers in leg holsters, translocator on a belt, The weapons your currently holding in your hands, and the next weapon in your cycle hangs from back on a strap, or attached to your armour some how. all other weapons would remain hidden,

I still think the telleportation effect or a backpack are the two best ideas thus far.

Yeah I remember. They also had a com set, both of those features made it seem a little more real. However UT seems to be progressing in a more futuristic sci-fi direction, so I could see not having a visible radio, but they need a futuristic and believable solution to weapon storage as well. Just no Pokemon containers, else I’ll have to b!tch slap some designers. lol ;)
