Indeed on both counts
I was quite impressed that Butler could go from the usual action-hero roles to a more psychological-bad-guy role(LAC was released a bit over a month after Gamer)


The funny part is my gf's father tends to lose interest in a movie rather quickly. If there isn't a gunfight or explosion in the first 15 minutes he usually switches out from it or falls asleep

I expected Jamie Foxx to say "and now for my next impression, Jesse Owens!" while running out of the cell. That and the giant plot hole questioning why, if Clyde was so incredibly intelligent, didn't he have a camera keeping an eye on the briefcase.
