Adapting would not be the hardest... life can hardly appear from methane seas on such a remote planet...

The Huygens probe was not meant to find alien life , but investigate a planet similar to prebiotic earth - only much colder.

do you mean life or any kind, or life such as complex organisms? the reason i'm asking is because we've found life in every extreme on our plant: in artic regions, deep in the cold, dark ocean depths where thermo vents spew gases from the mantle, etc.
