The "Start with half stamina" bug: What causes it?

I'm sure at least half of us have experienced this. It's often a problem with TDM. After you start a new round, you (more often than not) start with only half stamina. I'm not sure if this is a mutator conflict or if this is a bug in the game's code. Either way, it's a bug somewhere. Has anybody looked into this? If you play on Shan's TDM server you will experience this at least once. This has happened to me when I didn't ghost and just kept the flying camera completely still before the next round. I remember a while ago somebody told me it's because you fly around with the camera or something related to that. Well, I tested it while staying completely still and it happened to me every round.

On a side note, there is still the "pickup a clay on the field and have it not show up in your inventory 50% of the time, but still take up bulk" bug. Not sure if the two could be related to the same mutator or whatnot...but I think the claymore thing happened on a strictly vanilla server as well as one with Yurch's nades etc. I'll have to try it out and see when I have more time.

Not trying to piss in anybody's cereal...just trying to help.

I think the claymore bug has to do with picking up a clay that has allready passed the weapon stay on the floor time limit set by the server but is still there. If you pick it up immediately before the other weapons disappear I think the clay will always be in your inventory.

Maybe you didn't notice but it depends on the weapon position and reloading. Jogging aimed needs much more stamina. Reloading while Moving needs more stamina too IIRC

This has nothing to do with "losing stamina while running and aiming!? I R TEH N00b!?". This is just a random glitch that pops up more often than it should. It may be related to popular mutators, it may be a game glitch. Not sure. Just asking.

A lot of times when you start a new round of TDM (and it might've happened in EAS, can't remember), your stamina will be extremely low at the start of the round. I'd like to know what causes this, and if somebody could fix it.

The stamina bug only happens with the "leet killzor" scoreboard that is on some of the tdm servers. It only happens when you are in ghost camera at the end of the round. As long as you are looking through a teammate during round change, you will be fine.
^^^ --This has been correct in my experience.

The bug that happens when you pick up dropped claymores is unrelated I think. It will happen on any server, even offline. It only seems to happen when you pick up claymores that other dead players drop. The boxes of clays don't seem to activate the bug.

The first mag and first frag grenade are bulk free with each loadout.

Let's say you have a SAW, a 5-7, and a couple of frags. The belt for the SAW is
11 bulk, the 5-7 mag is 2, and the frag is 2. Th maximum bulk before taking
stamina penalties is 45. Given that the first belt, magazine, and grenade are
free, your loadout screen will show your load with 60 bulk before taking that

free bulk points, making it 49 before you take the bulk punishment.
