Went to Prime Quarter Steak House last night were you grill your own steak. I pulled a Meat Eater steak out of the cooler (cause it was the biggest one!) and started to grill it along with the little women's steak and one for her daughter when the waitress comes over and says Yea, that's the meat eaters steak, if you eat the whole thing, a salad, baked potato and a piece of Texas toast in an hour and 15 minutes, you get a metal, your picture taken to be put up on the wall and the next steak free. So I ask her how big is that steak I pulled out of the cooler? 40 oz. 2 1\2lbs! I wasn't planning on eating the whole thing when I took it out of the cooler, but the gauntlet was thrown down now! It took me an hour, and man, let me tell you, I was in some pain!! but I did it! I`m still in a little pain this morning, but hey, I ate the whole thing!! I let the 13yr old take her picture with the metal to put up on the wall, that made her day! :D I don't know if I'll eat anything all day I'm still full! :cheers:

a rough conversation tells me that the meat eater is over 1 kg heavy!!! ****, that's a big one!
I bi-monthly have a half kilo steak, entrecot from American beef(so they advertise in my fav. steak house). That alone finishes me off pretty well.
It's funny but 1 or 2 years ago all I wanted to eat was meat and now I'm starting to have fruit and veggies very frequently... without anyone pointing a moral gun to my head saying "well, kids in africa would love to eat that..." ;)

edit: hey ruk, tell us about the missus and the 13 year old. Who're they?
